connect. create. cultivate.
Create something with your own hands, shop handmade gifts for local makers, and spend the evening connecting with your community.
The Holiday Market is an evening built around creativity and connection. Guests can shop from local makers, take part in creative projects, and make gifts with their own hands, all while connecting with people from the Kansas City community.
Date: December 18, 2026
Time: 5–8 PM
Place: The City House
Address: 14300 HWY 40, Independence, MO
You can offer a project on the Creative Menu for people to make and take, you can sell your handmade products at a vendor booth, or you can do both!
Guide guests through a small handmade project they can make and take home. It is a good fit if you enjoy teaching or like to make things alongside other people.
Sell your handmade products directly to guests who came to shop local.
Offer a Creative Menu project and also hold a booth for your products.
Fill out the vendor interest form. It asks about your business, your products, any creative activities you would like to lead, whether you need a tablecloth, and your availability.
Submitting the form does not guarantee a spot. Selected vendors will receive additional information and must sign The City House's vendor agreement.
